  • Purchased off the wine list at Michel's Christiania Restaurant in Ketchum. Brilliant ruby color. Nose of high-pitched florals and earthy red berry scents with elements of anise and stone quarry. Ethereal and intense on the palate with sharp black cherry and raspberry layers joined by boatloads of fine-grained iron and mineral flecks. Firm tannins and avid acidity leading to a very refreshing drink. Long finish of steely red fruit. Great expression of NSG, with many years of life left.
