Off the list at Bartolotta. Not as inspired as the Falanghina from the same vintage, this skews much more toward simple than complex. I enjoyed what was in the bottle (or at least my brain told me I had to for $60), but this is not something I would seek out unless it were $12 or less. Perhaps the 2011 will be altogether more fresh and vibrant.

Tastes like a reliable Fiano. Great value.

Light straw colour. Peach/Apricot nose. Nice expression on palate with also apple, flowers and minerals. Rather good QPR i would say.
