Single glass via coravin. Dark coloring w nice legs; minerals/stone and a slightly sour red fruit nose. Velvet-y mouthfeel with red fruit that has a green/underripe aftertaste and a continuation of the mineralogy from the nose and others' notes. Fine sediment.
Spectacular wine. Drank at MB Post in Manhattan Beach. Vibrant aroma, slightly floral but mostly red fruit. Silky smooth tannins, round soft mouth feel. Ripe dark fruit, some fig. Long elegant finish. Enjoyed this wine a lot.
This is a 1.5-2 day superstar. Liked it at PnP, loved it over time. Black fruit nuances buttressed by flinty minerals. Balance is apparent even after a few hours, but sings later on. Wish I had a few more bottles in cellar.
