Pale gold. Thick white mousse and fine persistent bubbles. Lightly honeyed quince on the nose and palate. Bright acidity balances the hint of sweetness. Finish is surprisingly dark and ashen. Pork tenderloin? Yes!
Our last bottle of this. It continues to be an easy drinking, good afternoon, not overly alcoholic, almost always enjoyed wine. The bubbles were fading a bit and after a bit of time in the glass it was more of a flat Riesling. Lightly sweet. Not too complex. Very refreshing.
