  • This '02 is still in good shape. Very nice aromatics. A bit more wood on the palate than I prefer, but it's still balanced. Color still of a young Pinot.

  • Opened this to have with dinner: roast pork tenderloin with mustard seed/fennel/red pepper flake crust and roasted cauliflower and broccoli.

Needed about 30-40 minutes to fully fill out out across the palate but was still a little lighter than I would have wanted and a little more simple than I wanted. Palate shows some beet root, spice (clove/cinammon) along with some black cherry fruit. Finish is on the short side. I would say if you have these, open and drink up. It may not be in danger of falling over the cliff but it ain't getting better. Still a decent drink of wine though.

  • Drank with the DC Crü at New Heights in DC.

Sweet, cotton candy, sugary jello fruit....I forget who decided to pop this one at the end, but this tasted like cotton candy next to what we'd just finished drinking. It probably should have gone early in the line up, and I think my view of the wine was more 'Meh...' because of when we drank it. 87-88 pts.

  • Nice balance. Fairly simple. This is a slight step down from some of their other offerings. Medium red, raspberry and earth flavors dominate. Versatile enough to complement the variety of foods at the dinner table.

  • Light ruby color. Nice raspberry, cherry and cola flavors. Light on its feet, but not trivial. Decent complexity, excellent balance. Easily accessible and quite enjoyable.
