First tasted with no food and found the wine to have a bitter mid palate and a little acidic. With food, the flaws were not noticeable. I believe that the heavy oak program on this wine was used to cover the flaws.

Once again a marvelous wine. Pale lemon yellow color with slow uneven legs. Sweet grass aroma with a buttery pineapple palate. Some mineral as well. Remarkably full bodied with long finish. Followed suggestion at the winery that this be served at room temperature but, being summer and eating outside, we put it in an ice sleeve. Ended up a bit too cool and became better once out of the sleeve and the meal progressed.

This bottle was still quite good even though it was supposedly past it's drink date. Clean fresh taste.

Nice balance. Silky mouthfeel, Not over oaked but still buttery. Similar in style to Beinger Private reserve.

Similar to the April bottle with vanilla, pears, and pineapple held together with a siolid backbone. Not flabby at all but rich in all the good ways.
