Quite a restrained nose of blackberries, plums and just about any other dark fruit you can think of. Rich and concentrated - it simply oozes from from the bottle. Still very chewy though and needs a long decant to calm down and pull everything together. Better still, leave it in the cellar for another two or three years. It'll be worth the wait. Sheer class.
Aerated / decanted 3+ hours. Very dark & beautiful color. Wonderful nose of dark fruit and spice with hint of oak. Flavors are huge - mostly dark berry, but with some pencil, earthy mushroom, and meat. Even as a big wine, still shows great balance with fine tannins, reasonable acidity, and a long finish. Surprisingly easy to drink! Super now and will surely age well for several more years.
