Faded rim, red colour with some purple. Red cherry, strawberry and raspberry , spice, cinnamon, Soft on the palate, just a little tannin, lots of fruit and freshness, lovely texture. Lovely wine. Punches well above its lowly appellation.

From magnum. Very nice straight out of bottle but better with some air. Elegant fruit, fresh, nice balance. I prefer to drink it (and most southern rhones) on the cool side (eg 15-16c).

Some slight browning visible in the glass and there is mushroom, forest floor and herbs on the palate. This is complex and delicious - although I also think this drinks really well when young. I have had a few very enjoyable 16s over the last 3 years or so. This continues to be amazing value for money

Complex for Côtes du Rhône. Cherry and brambles on front end with more blackberry and herbs on backend. But nicely integrated for lovely experience

Lacks the intensity of earlier bottles; drinkable but softer and imprecise. Drank half; leftovers the next day were pfffft. Drink up.
