Color: rich gold Nose: pineapple, yeast, custard, brioche very clearly and a ton of minerals; bit of ripe apple as well Palate: elegant. Very fine bubbles and incredible acidity. Minerals give it a lot of structure, then there is real complexity with coffee and cocoa and apple and pineapple again. Brioche and cream on the close Finish: quite long
I think it's time to drink this one. Very vibrant and complex, hint ripe, super mineral but elegant and not overwhelming. Excellent vintage bubbles

Truffle Dinner at the Papies (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): A year since we had this last ( Papies 93) and remains an amazing wine full of elegance and as we say this is the best champagne made outside champagne and will give a top level champagne a run for its money. Ripe and rich, good yeasty profile. well round and with a smooth feel. Citrus, honey notes quite mineral and continues its path to beautiful drinking. We wish we had more a solid 93-94

Truffle Dinner at the Papies (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): Another great performance from this beautiful wine. Still very bright, and elegant wine. Ripe citrus, honey notes, yeasty. Nice mineral feel on palate, round, good ripe notes and just drinks superbly now. Very bright too. A solid 93. As we say this is the best "champagne" made outside of champagne.

Ageing beautifully and gracefully. Very elegant and glassy wine , rich, yeasty and complex. Nice depth too. Worthy of the hype and price. 93+
