My first bottle over a year ago was much better. Perhaps this one was slightly reductive. Somewhat grapey - if I was blinded I would definitely pin this as Boujolais. Some nice red fruits. Decent mid-palate structure. Nice, but not as nice as a remember, where I would have rated this bottle 90pts.

Fantastic nose, full of flower, some spice. A much darker, rubier pinot noir then what you might find from Burgundian pinots, but all the aspects of a pinor noir were there. Strong cherry was predominant, but other fruits and textures appeared. Nice finish, very smooth. This wine was great on its own, but was enjoyable with a soft cheese.

Brought to a BYOB dinner with co-workers and was a hit. Loved the "outdoorsy" nose of forest, flower, and spice. Abundant cherry and cranberry on the palate, a little earthiness, with just a tinge of tannins on the lingering finish.

Dried berries and cherry, flowery spice, a little earthy, smooth velvety finish.

A little hot on the palate. Ripe and dry red berry fruit. Tastes a little funky, not flawed, and not the good kind of funky.
