Deep yellow. Pear, spice, iodine. Palate of pear, honeysuckle, baked lemon. Long finish showing tart apple and lemon. There is a rich sweetness here, but not overly so like the other reviews might suggest.

Oakier and richer than most of the other IPOB chards, but considering it's from Santa Maria, this makes sense to me. Well balanced by nice tart acidity underneath. Some smoky mineral going on here too. Likeable, crowd-pleasing style. 90+

Just a class act. More oak, vanilla and richness than is many Chardonnays - which is exactly how I like it
