An excellent showing for an aged Premier Cru that could easily keep going another 10 or more years, especially given the fact that I’d drank a 1995 Maranges Premier Cru (a Vincent Girardin) that was superb. Minerals and spices and pure red fruits for days, with a touch of herb and earth. Just lovely.

Nice cherry flavor up front but not enough follow thru. a bit short. Will not hold this any longer, time to drink. This is a pleasant wine good for a weekday dinner.

Lightbody red cherry. Definitely past it’s prime but held up quite well and developed some nice secondary flavors, albeit a bit hot.

Sweet dark cherry juice, raspberries, and some flintiness come through. 2009's vintage character is apparent. 13% alc.
