Dark, almost inky, purple, aromas of blueberry and cedar. Luscious ripe blackberry, blueberry, chocolate mousse bomb, with a touch of cranberry on the finish. Not complicated, but utterly delicious. Rated this previously at 90, but... maybe a stingy rating night. This is just perfect now, medium full bodied.

Medium dark purple with aromas of wet cedar forest. Uncomplicated flavors of blueberry, with mocha, no rough edges, fully softened. Deliciously easy drink! Drink now, don't hold.

This is a truly lovely Cab Franc and so sad to be my last bottle but saved it for a birthday meal with rack of lamb and the two went wonderfully together.

When this was first opened, the oak spice was dominant. Afater a few hours of air, this opens with a fair amount of blueberry and mocha, and some heat. There was some pepper in the middle, following good acidity...soft but gripping and lingering tannic finish. This didn't have much of what I usually associate with cab franc (for lack of a better description, herbaceous pepperiness), but this is definitely nice to drink. Drinking well now, but maybe the tannin will develop/soften a bit more with a little bit more age...
Update: We had this open for 3 days, and this softened very gracefully over that time.

This was a very rich example of a cab franc with a finish that lingered on the palate for almost a minute. Dusty red fruit leads the way with a great example of cab franc.
