I agree with others - this is light and middle of the road. For $24, you could do worse, but I hope for better. A touch of oak, fairly typical chardonnay overall.

Chardonnay Brosseau Vineyard) Light butter yellow color; lovely, light pear, light grapefruit nose; intriguing, tart pear, light lemon, grapefruit, mineral palate with a sense of salt, very characterful; medium-plus finish 92+ points (picked at 20.6 brix, 12.1% alcohol, from 31-yr-old own rooted Wente clone vines; fermented in 25% new French oak, malo partially blocked)

Less expressive and more oaky than before, improved slightly on the second night. Still nice acidity and minerality.

Definitely a bit of grapefruit on the nose, more fruity than mineral to me. The oak is definitely there but not overwhelming. Medium acidity. Nice
