Chambolle Northside 1er (Zoom / Chicago): A full and appealing nose of youthful black cherry with minerals and florals. Like many 2010s this is youthful and primary but so approachable and with terrific energy and detailing. Classically Chambolle with its lacy fruit.

Chambolle-Musigny "Northside" 1er Cru Tasting (Chicagoland IL): Very bright and elegant with a finessed punch at the finish. This exemplifies 2010's charm, but I would like a little more density. Still, so very good now through 2030. Others liked this even more tonight.

Côte-de-Nuits spiciness, combined with surprisingly fresh fruit and hard tannins. Needs more time in the cellar to (hopefully) soften the tannins.

In contrast to my last recent bottle, a little thin and short, though still drinkable. Prob a mix of bottle and palate variation...
