Very pleased to be trying this again after 8 years. It is still drinking beautifully and actually seems only a few years old. Pinot Bianco, Friulano, Ribolla Gialla. Only the Pinot is fermented and aged in oak barrels, the rest in stainless steel. All components see 12 mos. aging on the lees. Golden yellow in color, with a med (+) to pronounced nose of white flowers, tart tropical fruit, lemon peel, vanilla, wet stone. Dry, with med (+) to high acidity and med alcohol (13%). Med (+) body, flavor intensity and length. It is drinking even better than I remembered it. Amazingly age-worthy and a great value.

Some floral notes along with apricot on the nose. When tasted, the wine showed some weight in mouthfeel, with apricot and minerals. Nice acidity. When paired with food, the fruit faded away.

I had this in Collio, and it is reportedly a blend of Pinot Blanc, Friulano and Chardonnay (instead of Ribolla Gialla). Very well made, international-style white. It has a very aromatic nose and a bracing acidity. Very food friendly. Medium bodied, silky, elegant, balanced. Drink now, but likely to improve over the next couple of years.

7 days in Italy.; 6/16/2012-6/22/2012 (Italy): 40% Pinot Bianco (neutral barrel fermented), 40% fruilano, and 20% ribolla gialla. Felluga is the only producer to make a Molamotta, a lieu dit in the village of Farra. I'm really feeling hard pressed to call any barrel ferment here. Perhaps this is a bit softer than the first three wines, rounder. Also the most subtle of the bunch so far.
