Ikke dekantert. Svært imøtekommende, vital og I live. Bare et glass. Dag 2 mer a klart, ikke like vital, men for all del. Lærdommen er at jeg burde satse alt på dag 1. Neste gang, lover!

Barolo 2004 with the Jeroboam Club (Little Shop and Pantry, Bristol): Bright red-garnet. Rich aromatics, silky, immediate. Lots of truffle here, with plums, balsam and menthol; roasted nut notes emerge with a bit of aeration. Classic, great complexity. On the palate, the fruit is a bit shy at first, but emerges with time. Terrific intensity from the lively acidity, grippy, long. Hard to chose a favourite between this and the Vignolo.
