La Festa del Coniglio (Miami, FL): Color is light to medium ruby with impressively flowing bouquet of fresh cut flowers, sweet cherries, menthol, and spices. The palate is more reserved a shows a nice raspberry confit wrapped by gripping tannins that need a bit more time to integrate. Finishes medium in length with a kiss of fruit. This wine is pretty and aromatically enticing yet so delicate. Enjoy with utmost care, of course after some more years of cellaring.
Sour cherry along with herbs and notes of cinnamon flavored coffee on the nose. Medium bodied, elegant wine with firm tannins and a silky mouthfeel. Rich flavors of cherry and anise seeds leading to a long finish with layers of cherry, oak and cocoa.
Pop and pour. Stunning nose with sweet spices and lovely a hint of vanilla. Very elegant and smooth. After an hour it gets more muscle and scent of peccorino, tar and Cherry stone apppears. Lovely wine.
