Very similar impression with this wine when I tasted it at the winery over three years ago. Light color, silky smooth texture, very expressive nose. Raspberry, cherry, strawberry, some earthiness, great finish.
I love Gutherie's interpretation of Pinot. This wine drinks great for the price. It has many of the attributes of Copain's single vineyard pinots. Fruit is fully developed now, with slight acidity and great terroir, subtle garrique and a touch of herbs. Beautiful wine for the price.
