  Closed and thin at first. Gained weight and complexity with airtime. Dark fruit, medium weight, with that drying, rustic feel of a wine from tuscany.

Medium body, dark ruby red color, aromatic, red fruits, plum, tobacco notes and oak aroma, ripe cherry, strawberry, prunes and sweet wood on the palate, prunes and cedar on finish, cedar nuts on long finish, rich, velvety structured, balanced and complex, thin acidity, ripe tannins, food friendly. Well match to heavy cheeses or mushrooms soup. Open about one hour in advance. Serve 18º - 22º. Completely matured. Drink now and next couple years.

  something to drink young, I don't really like the style of it : a bit on the heavy side, lacking the fine acidity from a typical Sangiovese wine
