golden color, shows signs of age. the nose confirm the (premature?) aging of the wine. Wax, honey, mushrooms. Not very complex. The palate is balanced, medium+ acidity, round and lingers. I think this bottle was drunk too late. Still a good wine though.
Bought at an auction, so I do not know how it was cellared.

Pristine bottle. Deep gold color, perfect condition. Tastes of barley sugar, but dry. Some light tropical fruit, stones and typical Chablis mineral. Perfect depth, balance and flavor. Wonderful.

Deep gold. Earthy, mineral, good secondary Chablis flavors. Chalk, chalk and more chalk with a bitter finish. Richer than expected. Very good, but I think the Dauvissat version will trump this. I have one bottle left of each and will drink them side by side.

Another Casual Burgundy Dinner (Oceanique - Evanston IL): Moderate fruit on nose and palate, but not the more classic lean style of fruit I expect from Chablis. Minerality and acidity give this wine very good energy and length, but I think the wine's intensity is good but not to my high Raveneau standard. Served alongside its 1992 counterpart, which I preferred tonight.

(François Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons) Earthy lemon, lime and mineral nose; solid, youthful, tight, lime and mineral palate with slightly oily texture, really opens up after 90 minutes; medium-plus finish
