Dinner at Les 110 de Taillevent , London (Les 110 de Taillevent , London): The nose of this wine is a mesmerising experience from the start till the end of our experience, with lovely expressive, soft though, fruit, superbly elegant and just draws you in. The palate is still in the young side and does have a few sharp edges that told us that it needs a bit more time to hit its peak and maybe a good 5 yrs. such an elegant wine worthy of the hype and pedigree. 94 for now but with a few more points to come it’s way when this ages further.

This is so tasty! Loads of crunchy red fruit, elegant, and already showing great with a bit of air. Glad I had another bottle of this in the cellar, but zero regrets opening one today.

(2010-tasting: Volnay x 3, Vosne x 3, Gevrey x 3) Very generous and rich nose. Very succulent. Modern impression. Vanilla oak well integrated. Fresh and intense red fruit. Violets and lovely perfume. Touch of indish bazaar. Lovely. Medium-fullish, rich and succulent palate. Absolute balance. Violets and perfume. Raspberry and gently oaky with hints of coffee. Very elegant and mature tannins. Very long and concentrated. Flirty and easy to love. Drink now and for at least 10 more years.

Loved it! My last bottle but it is open for business now and is smoking hot. While it can certain age for years more, I’d have a hard time keeping my hands off it assuming I had more in the cellar. Tasted blind, decanted 1 hour.

Delicious combination of tart cherries and mushroomy earthiness. Long finish.
