Tasted by wineismylife on 9/30/2006 & rated 88 points: WIML8,NOWA,NOWS

This bottle didn't seem quite as full and tasty as the previous bottle. One left in the queue. (839 views)
Tasted by wineismylife on 6/11/2006 & rated 90 points: WIML90,NOWA,NOWS

Tasted June 11, 2006 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Dusty rose color in the glass with a slightly dusty hue throughout. Nose was a little tight up front eventually showing some aromas of raspberries, blackberries and plums. Flavors of black cherries, red cherries, red berries and red currants. Later showed a little touch of coffee and some raspberries. Rounded tannins with a somewhat lively acidity. Drink over the short term. Based on the $19.54 per bottle I paid at local retail I’d say the value here is recommended. (821 views)

Tasted March 26, 2006 at home with a dinner of rack of lamb. Opened and served immediately in a Spigelau Authentis Magnum glass. Ruby to garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of cherries, plums, raspberries and a little dried herbs. Flavors of red cherries, raspberries, red licorice and Bing cherries. Showed better than the last time tasted on March 11, 2006. Drink over the short term. Should have splash decant before serving as I recommended that last time I tasted it. Recommended. (961 views)
Tasted by bknysak on 3/24/2006 & rated 83 points: Whoa, the whole manure pile made it in here. Doesn't blow off, either. Very simple, otherwise. (632 views)
Tasted by wineismylife on 3/11/2006 & rated 88 points: WIML88,PURPLE89,NOWA,NOWS

Tasted March 11, 2006 by itself at a retail wine tasting. Opened and served immediately in a Riedel “restaurant series” Syrah glass. Ruby color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of plums, gingerbread and black cherries. Flavors of red cherries, plums and a touch of earth on the finish. Good, clean fruit and palate pleasing acidity. Good enough to buy four bottles to retry later. Drink over the short term, maybe with a splash decant before serving. Recommended. (922 views)
Tasted by mmurry on 3/11/2006: Ruby. Nice balanced nose of raspberry, plum, pepper, and oaky vanilla. Just as good in the mouth, with sweet berries, pepper, and oak. Solid tannins and a long finish. A taste Rhone blend. (971 views)
Tasted by win on 3/11/2006 & rated 88 points: Minimal notes. FP. (725 views)
Tasted by Russell Faulkner on 1/16/2006: Riesling & Pizza (London): Token Red (served with food) Classic grenache led CdR, light-medium body sour cherry, perhaps a little syrah in there too. Good stuff. (1002 views)
Tasted by spidersva on 11/8/2005: Loved it. Absolutely spot on to what I like from CDR. (477 views)
