Greenish, raw straw, hay. Green leaves, clear currant. Nice acids but short and round aftertaste feels too round and even off-dry. Quite nice anyway for the price.

Nice style for price. This comes off more on the grassy side perhaps. Not so much in your face with acid, and fruiti is restrained, light stone fruit/grapefruit qualities...

Pale, limpid yellow color. The nose is obviously of Sauvignon Blanc with its rich, sweet, tropical fruit notes and aromas of blackcurrants, tomato leaves, nettles, cut grass, green peppers and hints of cat's pee. Surprisingly big and broad palate, compared to the usual, focused and acid-driven palate of new world SBs. Intense flavors of passion fruit with nuances of other exotic fruits, vegetal greenness, some sweet whitecurrants and a hint of asparagus. High acidity. Broad, dry finish with flavors of whitecurrants, cut grass, minerality and a hint of alcohol warmth.
Surprisingly good Chilean SB; a small powerhouse, yet still with good balance. I prefer drier and more restrained style, but the wine exhibits good varietal characteristics and wonderful structure. Very agreeable and rather powerful effort. Good buy at 13,99€.

I agree with my note from Jan '13 and others - decent value (22$ CAN) and is a more restrained SB with nice grassier profile, if you like that.

Pale yellow color. Tangerine and spice nose. Citrus and tropical fruit on the palate. Slightly muted acidity. Long finish.
