This is an excellent wine that has not yet resolved all of its sugar. With 4 wines on the table (and Christmas Chinese food) I started drinking backwards (this first). Honey, candied citrus, smells more primary than evolved at this point. Not unctuous but definitely very rich. Got these for $35 and would have paid double. Long, penetrating finish and plenty of acidity. Absolutely killed everything else on the table (Erbes Auslese, Soucherie Chaume, Zusslin Clos Liebenberg). This is not as electric as great Huet bottles but it is an absurd bottle at teh under $50 pricepoint.
