  Much smoother than I recall back in 2003. No alcohol burn, just a pleasant, spicy warmness. Good stuff. Dry, but it is a cab we're talking about after all.

  Had to stay open fore an hour. Then showed surprising fruit an smoothness. middel long finnish. Should be long over the top, but it was stiil keeping up. I'm surprised. The last bottle of this vintage.

The wine does not seek to overwhelm you with power, but instead offers a taste of good, subtle Bordeaux at a fraction of the price. Best of all, there is so much of it about that there is no need to stock it in one's cellar. Pound/dollar to litre, one of the very best wines around.
