Very pale, slight green tinge. Blend of pinot blanc, muscat, gewurtztraminer and riesling apparently. The nose is subtly floral with lime and lychee behind. In the mouth it is red apples, with a lime and green apple finish. Exceptionally quaffable.
I know this is a blend but I'm not sure of the recipe. I hope there's a healthy dollop of Gewurtztraminer in there because that's what I smell most in the glass. That flower petal-like characteristic echoes on the palate where it seems like this might have a touch more r.s. than the Edelzwicker. There's a moderate jolt of acidity that keeps this fairly refreshing. Good, and at $15 a good value, too.
