My last TN from just about a year ago, still holds. Decent entry level, but not as good as the '07, which I coincidentally had a week or so ago. I was going to write more or less the same note (forgot the last one until I read it again). Interesting that my experience was so similar over a year.

A bit from memory. I was a little disappointed in this bottle. I had the '07, (not reserve), and I thought it was much better. Not a bad bottle by any stretch, but nothing particularly distinctive. Good entry level Calif chardonnay.

Proud to enjoy this bottle from Schug. Perhaps I'm not the most impartial taster of this wine, as I worked for a summer at Schug and really love and respect this winery. Mike Cox and Walter do a nice job. Anyhow, this wine shows a lovely nose of lemon, pear, pineapple. There is a pleasant density and minerality in the mid palate, a touch of honey. Persistent finish. Great stuff.

Supper guests report this was a clean, well-rounded Chardonnay.
