  • deep color, bouquet of red fruit and wood shavings, flavor profile is not at all flabby, drink now

  • Moderately deep ruby color, very clear. Upon opening, nose presents red berry, parsley, leather, cedar and dried cherry notes. Cedar, cherry, some stone fruit, "not quite cassis" - more raisin, forest floor, marshmallow...quite a bit going on the palate. Acids are somewhat integrated and the tannins are fine and delightfully chewy, giving the mouthfeel a nice "smacking" quality. Finely muscled, this wine is lovely on it's own, though it's made to go with good, savory food.
