Completely characterless, unless "wine" counts as a descriptor. A faint whiff of oak dissipates almost immediately. The palate is an indistinct and vague muddle of weak fruit flavors. This ends with only the slightest suggestion of tannins. Aerated this for about an hour without improvement. My most tenacious sniffing yielded nothing additional on the nose. More like water than wine. The remainder of this bottle goes in the fridge for future cooking needs. One to avoid, unless you are extremely thirsty and lack other options.
This wine DEMANDS food, did not like it at all w/o food. Tried it since it was on sale. Overall was disappointed, it's an OK $6 wine that they charged $9 for it. There are many better values at this price point. Pass.
