The wine maker clearly did a good job of creating an "old world" feel to the wine; however, it's either slightly past its prime, or the use of malbec was questionable. The palette was light, with blackberries at the front, and then more dense fruits through the mid-palette. After an hour decanting, developed very striking pepper in the late-palette. No notes on nose.

Gentle wine at this point, nicely balanced cab. Much of the dustiness of a napa cab missing but still very drinkable

Still holding it's own. Promising nose, balanced and somewhat Bordeaux-like. I liked it but think I will need to drink my remaining 2 bottles soon.

No detailed notes. Excellent nose, palate doesn't live up to it in terms of depth/complexity. But that's a nit, all-in-all a very nice wine.

Beautiful, classic CA Cab nose with dominant cedar. Dark fruits. Mature but not over the hill. Nicely balanced.
