Pours medium red. Nose reveals Macerated cherries, strawberry, and a touch of red licorice.
Palate of Rainier Cherry, minerals, cinnamon, some watermelon rind and more minerals on the finish. Medium bodied and refined tannins. No sweetness and plenty of acid. A great food wine. Drinkable now, but will continue to improve with age. Should last until 2020.

Ripe raspberry and cinnamon nose. Light to medium bodied with medium acidity. Sweet cherry and raspberry fruit with a hint of vanilla and baking spice, all lifted by nice acidity. This will please a wide variety of palates.

Day 1, round red/dark red fruit. I like a bit more acid, though this is not out of balance. A bit of smokiness adds some complexity, but now it is good but not particularly captivating. Nice value.
