Community Tasting Notes (2)

  • No formal note. Put together nicely but I'm not sure I'm grooving on Grenache much regardless where it is from. This had good focus but not much depth. Didn't change much over 2 days fwiw.

  • Andrew says to consume this a little cooler as it is pretty fruit forward at this stage. Twisted and poured. First night nose shows lots of pepper, black raspberry and a hint of baking spices. Taste is a little on the darker side of fruit with plenty of pepper and spice to boot. Very primary but there is a nice play between the acids, fruit and tannins. Hope to pick up a couple of additional bottles and let them age. Have one more now and will revisit in 18 months or so.
