Paired well with spicy/rich food. On the spectrum of viognier, this is much more fruit forward and more buttery (significantly more fruit forward/buttery than even the Ogier Condrieu we had a few months ago). On the nose, this was a bit muted, presenting less pronounced floral notes than I'm used to, but those scents might have just been drowned out by the food. Nevertheless, we had so many different dishes between us that this was a good compromise.
