Didn't have the varietal character that I experienced at the Bevmo tasting. But this is still a nice wine with good fruit and acidity, along with agreeable earthiness and minerality.

(Manos Negras Pinot Noir) Deeply colored and bursting with ripe cherries, cranberries, and warm spices—cinnamon and allspice with a touch of vanilla. As in most Patagonian Pinots, a mushroom-tinged earthiness blends with graceful minerality. This full, luscious wine offers a glycerine texture and a mouthful of sweet, sappy, oak-framed fruit. Unfortunately this is over-the-hill, the abundant red fruit giving way to acidity and faded flavor. I'm sure it was good once just past prime now.

Nose is a bit acidic, but some fruit, too. Tastes a lot like Welch's grape juice.
