Still drinking well. Interestingly, on day 2 the more heavy handed (and to some, offensive) qualities of Roussanne were absorbed, but there was still a very pleasant amount of acidity, leaving a very elegant wine. Drink up if you really enjoy the similarities with a Napa Chardonnay, but still plenty of life if its been stored properly and you prefer a more delicate expression of the grape.

I agree with many of the tasting notes though I think the wines rougher edges (heat) have dissipated. This was drinking beautifully well after 30min, though I don’t think it’s worth holding any longer.

Very ripe and round. The acidity is probably on the lower end of medium, but there's a bit of heat that hits you through the cheeks in a similar way. The palate and the nose all show a bit of age and a touch of oxidation, bruised apple, ripe pineapple, raw almonds and big hit of wet rocks on the finish. Enjoyable but not very complex. Finish is unremarkable.
Better on day two (the first glasses had been Coravined), with more pronounced nuttiness and less pineapple. A saline component makes me question my initial assessment of the acidity a bit. The overall profile sort of reads like aged Viura... sort of. High marks for the richness, but it isn't that complex, take the score as a sort of midpoint of the two.
clear, light golden in color. citrus, mineral, herbal, honey, on the nose. honey, citrus, oak, pepper, floral, mineral, on the palate. medium acid with a good crisp finish.

Light, bright gold. Intense aromas of candied pear, quince and anise, with suave floral and ginger qualities adding a vibrant quality.
