(Van Volxem Riesling Goldberg Erste Lage) Scents of pear and spring flowers emerge on the nose. The palate is relatively supple, its density and drinkability overcome by pristine acidity that slams the door on what would otherwise be a long finish. Possible to drink now, but would benefit from at least three to five years of aging. The Saar: Forging Its Own Path
