Fairly light cherry colour with initially restrained aromatics which slowly blossom in the glass to reveal a classic pinot nose of red fruits. The flavours are primary yet in a typically Burgundian fashion - no overt sweetness here. Little complexity to speak of yet and there are some unresolved tannins so whilst it is a perfectly enjoyable drink now I would ideally leave it a few years.
