intense, bit dusty-earthy, prominent dark berry fruit is very appealing; rather tannic, stemmy, but quite good taste[ fine, slow fade. still could soften and improve

Maroon color. Medium body. Smooth texture with blue and black berry flavors but marred by some harsh, stemmy undertones. Still pretty good, but, unfortunately, a step down from their '09.

Beautiful red fruit, bread dough, woodsy earth, and a cool, dry herbaceous quality. On the palate, bright and structured with notes of dusty earth and cherry. Grippy tannin, needs some time. Tapering finish, impressive for a wine this inexpensive.

Somewhat campfire-y, somewhat gamey, dried herbs, with some rich blackberry fruit. Earthy black fruit, pepper, bright acidity, firm and somewhat abrasive tannin. Lots of steminess in finish. Pretty good but not my favorite.
