  • I preferred this to the previous bottle. It is definitely an oak-forward style, but I am left wondering if the fruit is strong enough to bring it all back into balance. If it is, then you should wait another couple of years and this should be lovely. I am not sure if it will make it there, but I am not the most experienced in this type of style.

  • Should be good.... New oak and high altitude Chardonnay, but at the moment the oak is dominating and the fruit is underwhelming. End result is slightly tiresome, slightly bitter. Now it is 6 years old, try leaving it a couple more to see if it balances out.

  • Quite intense banana and buttery note. Medium bodied and medium acidity. Lots of pineapple in the palate. Medium length finish. Balanced white with a fruity focus.

  • Very young, but drinking very well tonight. The 2010 Terrazas de Los Andes Chardonnay is very classically styled but the wine certainly has a balance between fruit and oak. Slightly creamy on the palate there is still structure and power enough to satisfy the Chardonnay fans. Though in the same league as the best Argentinian wines from this varietal, the effort is well worth trying out.
