  • Needs some time to relax and expand but this is pretty acceptable stuff once it has stretched its legs. Minerally, flinty, taught and lean but with enough white flower and peach elements to round it off and make it a decent wine. At £17 though I would struggle to recommend it.

  • Grassy lint bandages and a touch of peach on the nose. Almost pears and stone fruit on the palate making you think of a good Soave, but then a wonderful shot of acidity lifts and cleans. Like the old bra advert - lift and separate. But cleaner.. ! Lovely exciting wine. Just trying to work out where it goes from here - does it age? My guess is yes, the acidity will keep it fresh and it will gain a bit more weight and self-importance. Just not sure I will have any long enough to try in a couple of years...
