Found the wine to be excellent and even better than the last time I had it. Still intact with nice subtle flavors. Cork broke but wasn’t defective. Suggest drinking the wines up if you have them. Quite apparent that glassware makes a difference as we tasted in two different stemware and taste was substantially different.

Ok, this may have gotten past its prime but 18 year old wine that is still superior to most New California wines. Slight mustiness, amber ring, leather, graphite indicating a long cellared wine. Drink it up, it still tickles the taste buds.

Superb Cab drinking near its peak. Just a bit of bricking around the edges. Black currant, pencil lead, wood smoke, stewed cherries, double espresso with chocolate. I had several of these and drank the others too soon. This wine is vibrant and will probably continue developing wonderful nuances, but it's certainly ready to go now after decanting for an hour. The type of wine that sends you shopping.

I was pleasantly surprised. This had a nice chocolate bouquet, with a nice fruit forward style- lots of chocolate and blackberries. I kept thinking of a statement a wine wholesaler made recent- this is "nice juice". Give me this over the more expensive Wuertele Vineyard wine...

Still has enough to last. Tannins are soft, but distinctive. Still a bit of fruit. Acidity still good.
