Uhh, this doesn't taste like CF... At all. Very dark color, bordering on black. Nose is muted fruit and molasses. Soft tannins surround rich blackberry flavor. Short finish. Not bad for $7 at a killer Peruvian restaurant in a stripe mall.

"Oops" is right. This is not like any cab franc I've ever had. It has no characteristics of cab franc even though it's 86% of the blend. I get some of the careener, though. The only cab francs I've had have been from central Virginia wineries, so that may account for the difference. In a blind tasting I would guess that this is a syrah-based blend.
