This has become a nicely integrated chardonney. The oak has softned and the fruit characteristics are shining through. I'm glad I have a few left to drink.

Yes, it's very woody, spicy, and tropical, which isn't my preference, but it is a well-made wine and will be enjoyed by those who like a big Napa chardonnay; as bold as a red, but with oak providing the backbone instead of tannins
