Decanted approx. 4 hour ... My first go at this, and my first non-OPC wine from the Buoncristiani family and all I can say is: I am suitably impressed. Rich and lush, but well-balanced, it's definitely New World in style, but has a classic Italian minerality, as well. Velvety texture, but not over-oaked. Earth and spice and a medium-long finish. Very, very nice and a good QPR. Wish we'd purchased more than two bottles. Went perfectly with rich Sunday gravy and yeasty garlic knots.
