Has been a bit over two years since I visited this wine. Last bottle of this vintage, and solidifies exactly why this is my favorite N&N. The tannin has softened from the last time. The complexity and the fruit are there. This one is truly ready to go. The 2015-2019 drink-by date is horribly inaccurate, as this one can probably sit another 5-7 years without much of a problem. Nice, mature black fruits with soft, integrated, tannins. Balanced, ready to go. Wish I had a few more of these without a doubt.

Expressive nose with anise, cedar, dark fruit, dirt, a bit of spice. Palate of black raspberry, tart plum, slight herbal note, hint of cocoa. Tiny bit of tannin still present and nice acidity. Long long finish. What a beauty.

My favorite N&N wine, hands down. Oak nose with mature blackberry. But the neatest thing about this: the nose has THE true expression of Oakville dirt. Got to smell the dirt at Paradigm and the nose of this wine ALWAYS takes me back to Oakville. Sweeter, dense blackberry fruit with a hint of vanilla and almost a purple note. Middle expresses the notes of the Oakville dirt. Lavender. Finished with nice, expressive notes of Oaked blackberry and POWER. For the heat they take among some winos, the one thing that cannot be denied is that they make consistently very good wine.

Camphor and a note of blackberry on the nose; on the palate, strong blackberry, raspberry, and notes of earth and bitter tobacco on the medium finish, with moderate tannins and good acidity. This is not a particularly powerful Cabernet, but the pleasantly dark fruit is well balanced by the tannins and acid. Fair to good value at about $60.

Smooth and enjoyable, aged Cab. It took about an hour to open up and has integrated completely. Drink now.
