Light red with faded outer third. Aromas dominated by green herb and menthol rather than fruit, a big shift from when this wine was young. Light weight and delicate in the mouth. Tart red fruit in balance with the greener components, excellent acidity and earth, quite saline, little residual tannin. I've followed this over 11 years, and while it was never the most exuberantly fruity vintage of this cuvée, it has followed a steady trajectory of letting the non-fruit elements come to the fore and display its "inner Gevrey" structure. It is fully mature now, a tad short of outstanding, but still has enough fruit to drink very pleasurably for another 5+ years. A wine that grew on me as we sat with it through dinner.

2/12, vg cork. Pale/medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Aromatic, strawberries, red cherries, florals, touch of soil and mineral. Medium bodied, pure red fruit, elegant with fine tannins, touch of soil and game, lovely vibrant acids, very good length harmonious finish. Excellent, drinking well

Excellent! Beautiful balance. Classic burgundy. Pure and beautiful mixture of red fruit, acid and structure. Long finish. I can’t wait to get into the CsJ and Griotte.

Exactly as I expected, well made, very good dark red fruits with nice lively structure. Very nice village wine.

Strict cranberry pinot, fine and fragrant, but a bit buttoned up
