Fully mature and, in fact, this bottle might have been given too much air. It had charm and a Merlot-like mouthfeel, it tasted more like any aged wine rather than a distinct expression of Tuscan Merlot. Enjoy ale if not scintillating.

Delicious! At 20 years this shines. From our cellar and decanted for sediment. Sat at room temp for about 40 minutes. Aromas of dark fruit and spices. Full bodied, super smooth, intense flavors of black cherries, chocolate, some raspberries and mineral. Well done. Enjoy this now if you have some, but should hold for a few more years at least.

My last bottle - an elegant and flavorable effort, free of any sharp edges. Fruit was mature, but very satisfying. Fully integrated tannins. Drink it if you have it!

Dense without being heavy, fully integrated tannins, black cherry and vanilla ,medium finish. So well made, a surprise for a 20 year old Merlot from Italy. Great with food!

Consistent with my prior experience(s) - except this time it's much more ready; this had been given a slow-ox for 2 hours. That said, the first pour was not nearly as expressive as it had finally become about 2 hours after we began to pour it. The color shows absolutely no sign of age; flavors/palate, too, showing firm secondary characteristics, trace tertiary attributes. This can likely continue to improve for another ~5 years, and live for perhaps another decade beyond that if your cellar/provenance conditions are optimal. Very impressive once it's had a least 60-90 minutes of air to fully blossom. Med+>full body, super-fine, sweet tannins. The oak has (finally) fully integrated. 13,0% abv., thru 2032. Cork/fill in perfect condition. highly recommended
