  Had same vintage from their Sonoma coast bottling which I liked, this -- not so much (actually not at all)

  Someone brought this over to us. Knew it was a "grocery store" - type brand, and was expecting the worst. Have to say it's actually pretty good! Reminded me of some of the less-AFWE wines I've had from Sonoma Coast producers like Papapietro. Cranberry fruits, good acidity, maybe a bit too puckery if anything. No extra nuances to take it to the next level, but I certainly won't sneer next time someone brings it over.

  simple strawberry and red cherry notes, a little mint and some spice on the finish.
