Not decanted, half consumed on Sunday 10/14 & the rest four days later. Concentrated tart cherry/cranberry fruit with mouthwatering acids, some black licorice and leather/wood, and a whiff of something like burnt sugar (but not sweet).
On day 4 compared to day 1, the fruit definitely leaned more towards cranberry, although everything except the acid was a little more subdued. As often with Tolo, the winemaking approach does tend to obscure varietal transparency (not sure how else to put it), but this was still quite enjoyable and has plenty of life left to it.
